Wells Receives Priddy Foundation Scholarship

James Wells is a 2026 recipient of the prestigious Priddy Foundation Scholars Program Scholarship at Midwestern State University. As a first-generation college student, James stood out in a highly competitive selection process, advancing through multiple rigorous evaluation phases. Out of 238 initial applicants, he was selected as one of only 30 students for the online interview round, successfully moved forward to the top 20 for in-person interviews, and ultimately secured one of the final 15 scholarship spots. Over the next four years, James will leverage the Priddy Scholars Program to participate in specialized student success workshops, access comprehensive career planning assistance, and pursue opportunities to study abroad. James will pursue a career in Finance.
