Fall 2022 Semester Exam Information
Test Exemption Policy
All Junior High students must take every final exam. High School students who are in good standing academically, behaviorally, and maintain an outstanding attendance record, shall be permitted to be exempt from taking semester tests. To be considered in good standing, a high school student must meet the following criteria:

Have no more than three excused absences in a semester per class. Four excused tardies in that class will be the equivalent of one absence.

Maintain at least an 85-grade working semester average in a class. Each class will stand alone.

Maintain a 90-grade average in citizenship in a class. Each class will be stand-alone.

Have no unexcused absences or tardiness in any class. An unexcused absence or tardy will disqualify the student from exemption in any class.

Absences will be prorated according to the Working Semester Grade Average maintained in a single class as followed:
0 absences- a student must maintain an average of 85 or higher
1 absence- a student must maintain an average of 88 or higher
2 absences- a student must maintain an average of 91 or higher
3 absences- a student must maintain an average of 94 or higher
If you are exempt from all final exams for a specific day, you are still expected to be in attendance from 7:40-12:00 (4 hours and 20 minutes for full day attendance granted). You will follow the exam schedule and report to your appropriate teachers, then be allowed to leave at 12:00 p.m. You cannot leave campus and return later. If you leave, you leave for good that day! If you do not have transportation and must stay on campus, just follow the exam schedule. You will not be allowed to hang out anywhere!

10:00-12:00 6th period exam
12:00-1:00 Lunch; enjoy your hour!
1:00-3:00 8th period exam
3:00-3:40 ACE
Wednesday, Dec. 14th High School Field Trip; Junior High rotations (TBA)
Thursday, Dec. 15th

10:00- 12:00 5th period exam
12:00-1:00 Lunch; enjoy your hour!

Friday, Dec. 16th
