Tyler Winkler Qualifies for the State Cross Country Meet
Senior cross country runner Tyler Winkler competed at the state meet on Saturday, November 5 in Round Rock, Texas at Old Settlers Park. He was able finally accomplish this goal of running at the state cross country meet. He finished the race, 77 out of 147 with a time of 19:19. It wasn't his fastest time, but he ran really hard especially at the end of the race, passing several runners during the last 300 meters.
We're very proud of Tyler and his accomplishments, and he represented Prairie Valley well at the state meet.
