About Me
November 20, 2008
I am originally from Jacksboro. After graduating high school, I attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. I graduated in 2004, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am certified to teach Early Childhood-4th grade, Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies for 4th -8th grades, and ESL.
After college, I married Jeremy. He is a cowboy/rancher. My first teaching job was in Weatherford, Texas, where I taught Kindergarten for 3 years. We moved to Montague County in 2007 where I taught Pre-k in Nocona. This year I am very happy to be at Prairie Valley teaching 2nd grade!
My husband and I have no children...yet! We have a fantastic young man living with us. His name is Clayton. He is a freshman at Prairie Valley.
We have too many dogs-6 of them! Pete, Roy, Sister, Brin, Scout, and Lacy. They are all cow dogs.
We have 4 horses-Denny, Blue, Cisco, and Mouse.
I love to be outside, garden, travel, cook, take pictures, draw (when I have time!!), read, and spending time with Jeremy, Clayton, and friends.
