Physics Classroom Policy

Policy and Grade Weights

Grading Policy:
Physics course work is divided into two categories; their grade weighting and definition are listed below.

40% Assignments: include but are not limited to the following:
Problem Sets
Lab Reports
Section Review Worksheets
Chapter Review

60% Tests
Chapter
Classroom Rules:
1. Respect others.
2. Be prepared for class.
3. Keep the classroom safe.
4. Keep the classroom clean.
Daily Discipline:
The following procedures will be followed if a rule is broken (please note that in severe classroom disruption or repetitive disruptions, steps 1 and 2 will be omitted):
1st offense—Points deducted from conduct grade.
2nd offense—Student serves lunch detention.
3rd offense—Disciplinary referral to principal’s office.
