Arbor Day Poster Contest

The Arbor Day Poster Contest is a program of the National Arbor Day Foundation for fifth grade students. It builds awareness and appreciation for trees and Arbor Day in today's youth. The Texas Arbor Day Poster Contest is proudly sponsored by the Texas Forest Service.
As part of the celebration of Arbor Day our 5th grade class participated in the poster contest “Trees are Beautiful…and Energy Wise!” Our local contest is sponsored by the Keep Nocona Beautiful organization. Kendra Woods won the poster contest and will receive a $50 savings bond.
